Abid Sharifov: "No restriction to be imposed on entry of vehicles into Baku"

“Baku is open for vehicles registered in regions, travelling from regions and cities, and from abroad” Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Road Safety Commission of Ministers` Cabinet, Abid Sharifov told.

Sharifov noted that all types of vehicles carrying farm products can enter the city during 24 hours: “All types of taxi cars will be allowed to enter Baku International Bus Terminal”.

Sharifov also clarified the task given to the Interior Ministry on organization of free parking areas in the places near entrance zones from north and south till September 1: “movement of trucks with the maximum height of over 5 tonnes in the city will be restricted from 07:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. from May 1 to October 1, from 07:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from October 1 to May 1. These parking areas will be constructed for trucks. Because there are not parking areas for trucks with the height of 10 tonnes. The parking areas will be free. If they don’t want to stay there, they can come to Baku by taxi cars and buses”.
