Muradova said that during the OSCE Standing Committee`s meeting which will be held on October 13-14, the preliminary review of the observation mission in presidential elections in Azerbaijan will be announced.
"Taking into consideration that the OSCE PA meeting will be held a few days after the elections, we can suppose that there will not be large polemics on elections in Azerbaijan despite the fact that it will be put forth for discussions. More large discussions will be carried out after the release of the final report of the observation mission," Muradova said.
The head of the Azerbaijani delegation to OSCE PA said that human rights will be the main topic of discussion of the autumn session.
At the same time Muradova noted that during the discussions at the session`s meetings Azerbaijani members of parliament will raise the issues of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the occupied territories and the obstacles in the talks on settlement of the conflict.
The presidential election in Azerbaijan will be held on October 9. The previous election was held on October 15, 2008. Azerbaijan holds its presidential election every five years.
