Upon the defense minister’s order, extended serviceman Feteliyev Eldar Sakhavet oglu was awarded after his death a medal “For distinguished military service” of the third degree, AzVision.az reported.
Note that, Azerbaijani army positions in the Goranboy, Terter, Aghdam, and Fuzuli directions as well as the Gedebey area of the Armenia-Azerbaijan state border came under heavy fire from Armenian armed forces with different guns throughout the day and night on July 24. Feteliyev was martyred attempting to repel the enemy.
