Nargiz Pashayeva awarded with diploma of Science Academy of Moldova

The Azerbaijani Embassy in Moldova has received a greeting from the president of the Academy of Sciences (AS) Moldovan to the participants of the 47th International Chemistry Olympiad, held for the first time in the capital of Azerbaijan.

Oxu.Az reports with reference to the embassy that `‹`‹the president of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, Academician, Doctor of Chemistry, Professor Gheorghe Duca expressed his satisfaction in a letter that the decision to hold the 47th International Chemistry Olympiad in Azerbaijan, in the Baku branch of Moscow State University (MSU) was adopted by the International Jury of the 44th International Chemistry Olympiad, which was held in 2012 in Washington.

He also noted that during the closing ceremony of the 46th International Chemistry Olympiad in 2014 in the capital city of Vietnam, Hanoi, the flag was handed over to the organizer of the competition of the 47th Olympic Games - Baku branch of Moscow State University, and after Russia, Azerbaijan is the second country in the CIS where the International Chemistry Olympiad is held.

A special place in his letter also paid to the role of the rector of the Baku branch of Moscow State University, corresponding member of ANAS, professor Nargiz Pashayeva.

On behalf of the Moldovan Academy of Sciences, academician Gh.Duca expressed sincere gratitude for the great organizational work on preparation and holding of such large-scale events and reported that Nargiz Pashayeva was awarded with AS diploma.
