At Least 7 Killed, 10 Injured in India Building Collapse
At least seven people were killed, 10 injured and dozens are missing after a residential building collapsed in northwestern India Tuesday night, Bhaskar newspaper reported Wednesday.
According to local media, the 1972-built three-story house collapsed in the Thane district of Maharashtra state during heavy rains. A number of nearby buildings were also damaged.

At the time of the collapse, 20 families were reportedly inside the building, with rescuers fearing that up to 50 people are still trapped in the debris.

Currently, a team of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) officers is on the scene.
