“The visit will be aimed to discuss the current situation and prospects for bilateral relations and cooperation,” the Ministry says.
The Minister, who is a co-chairman of the Azerbaijani-Iranian Intergovernmental Commission for Economic, Trade and Humanitarian Cooperation, will be accompanied by representatives of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies, SOCAR, Azerbaijan Railways, Azerbaijan Caspian Sea Shipping Company, the Central Bank and the Agency for Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources.
Kazakhstan was the first among CIS countries to send its delegation to Iran with the same purposes.
