Agriculture, large businesses in focus of concessional lending in Azerbaijan
The National Entrepreneurship Support Fund under the Ministry of Economy and Industry confirms that agriculture and large business are still in focus of concessional lending in Azerbaijan.
According to the report on the Fund’s activity in the first half of the year, by July 1 2,908 loans for amount of AZN 63.670 million have been issued for organization of agricultural output production. At the same time, the Fund’s total lending reached AZN 97.016 million on 2,972 loans.

Only the service sector (infrastructure) can be compared with the agricultural sector, as far as the National Fund’s attention is concerned: it received 5 loans for amount of AZN 19.992 million.

At the same time, in the first half of the year the Fund allocated its finances mostly for large projects: AZN 62.108 millions on 21 loans.
