Georgia joins sanctions against Russia
Georgia has joined the sanctions imposed by the European Union on Russia.
This was announced in the European Commission’s declaration "on the alignment of certain third countries concerning restrictive measures in response to the illegal annexation of Crimea and Sevastopol", APA reported.

Note that, on July 29 another six countries – Montenegro, Albania, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Ukraine – joined the EU sanctions on Russia.

“The Candidate Countries Montenegro and Albania, and the EFTA countries Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, members of the European Economic Area, as well as Ukraine and Georgia align themselves with this Declaration,” says the declaration.
