Azerbaijani population`s income increases by almost seven times for 10 years
The Azerbaijani population`s income increased by 6.9 times over the last 10 years and reached 34.72 billion manat by late 2012, the State Statistics Committee told Trend on Saturday.
According to the committee, the population`s expenses increased spending by 5.9 times - up to 24.53 billion manat.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the average monthly salary increased by 6.3 times - up to 398.4 manat during this period compared to late 2012. Its amount increased to 410.8 manat in January-June 2013.

According to the committee, the number of pensioners in the country reduced by 1 percent to 1.2722 million for 10 years. The average monthly pension increased up to 152 manat for 10 years compared to late 2012. As of the first half of this year, the average pension increased to 153.3 manat, the number of pensioners - to 1.2726 million.

The poverty level in Azerbaijan decreased 7.45-fold - from 44.7 percent in 2003 to 6 percent in 2012.
