Yaver Jamalov stated that the facilities of the MDI continued implementation of the measures foreseen for 2015, produced defense products and handed over to the customers basing on the contracts signed on the orders of security agencies in the first six months of the year. They also expanded the production of civil-purpose products.
Defense and special purpose products make up 85% of the total production of MDI, and 15% accounts for civil-purpose products in the reporting period.
Products manufactured at the facilities of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense Industry&t=xeber`>Ministry of Defense Industry were successfully demonstrated at the DEF-2015 International Defense Exhibition held in Istanbul, Turkey in May, 2015.
Azerbaijan displayed 184 defense products at the IDEF-2015 exhibition.
