During the meeting sides noted that the liberation of Azerbaijani territories opened up new opportunities for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran, as well as throughout the region.
The parties also expressed confidence that the full restoration of the Azerbaijani-Iranian border would pave the way for the implementation of new projects between the two countries.
At the end of the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed on the construction of a road bridge and a pedestrian crossing on the Astara chay(river).
