Iranian president invited to visit Azerbaijan
Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade invited Iranian president Hassan Rouhani to Azerbaijan.
Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Pashazade made this invitation during the meeting with delegation from Iranian Border Guard.

"I am very glad that Hassan Rouhani was elected the president. I have friendly relations with him. I know that he has much work after being elected the president. In spite this, I invite him to Azerbaijan," Pashazadesaid.

Sheikh ul-Islam also talked about a policy pursued by Azerbaijan and Iran.

"Khomeini`s policy is being continued in Iran and Heydar Aliyev`s policy in Azerbaijan, as a result of which a strong Azerbaijani state was created and Azerbaijani nation understands this well. In the upcoming elections our nation will be able to assess the state created on a strong foundation," the Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office stressed.
