The number of religious communities registered in Azerbaijan this year has been publicized.
“The procedure of state registration of religious communities was continued in the first half of this year and their total number reached 632”, stated in the board meeting of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations dedicated to the outcomes of the first half of 2015.
During that period, 672 religious books were checked and the import and distribution of 147 books promoting religious intolerance, discrimination and radicalism were prevented.
