Despite the fact that Freedom House has the name of freedom in its name, indeed, this organization has nothing to do with real human rights and freedom, and is engaged in keeping under control the states, which pursue completely independent policies and depriving their sovereignty.

Each state pursuing an independent foreign policy is rated very low according to the scale set by Freedom House.

Consequently, this presents a convincing proof that Freedom House is an organization acting on others order. The unit assuming the name of “a house for freedom” each year appears on the agenda with its annual report on current levels of human rights and civil freedoms in the different states of the world.

It can be vividly seen that the reports drawn up by this organization are based upon absolutely non-objective and biased data.

Freedom House submitted its last report in 2015. The report evaluates the current situation of democracy and civil freedom in world states according to seven point scale. Thus states got points in a magnitude 1-7. The highest point of democratic prosperity, in quantitative terms, receives 1, while the lowest receives 7. Unfortunately Azerbaijan got 6 out of 7.

This Organization ultimately exposed its biased position against Azerbaijan by scoring us in such a manner. However, Georgia got 3 points; Armenia got 5 points, whereas Human rights situation and Civil Liberties in Azerbaijan received 6 in its report on South Caucasus region. It is so strange, when the situation of democracy and civic freedom is evaluated to be better than Azerbaijan in a country with thousands of political prisoners, where even simple human rights are violated.

All these moments repeatedly furnishes the uncontestable proof that the reports are made up by others direct order. It is a net result of double standards followed by Freedom House. Obviously this organization is a marionette manipulated by the Armenian lobby.

Everyone is able to understand this reality. Ignorance of the current development in Azerbaijan the achievements in the sphere of human rights and democracy repeatedly demonstrates the organizations “mission”. They assessed Azerbaijan the same as the countries with the authoritarian regimes.

Merely the fact that Freedom House brings such traitors of their country as Leyla Yunus to the spot line repeatedly demonstrates, that this organization publishes non-objective biased texts against Azerbaijan undisputedly chartered by others.

The organization concludes governmental intervention to the mass media in Azerbaijan. Supposedly, 80 per cent of media institutions are under governmental influence. However, each person having an access to the internet can understand, this is non-sense. Because mass media is completely free in Azerbaijan. If that was not the case, we would not be able to observe the independent opposition journalists and media institutions such as Meydan tv, Azadlıq.org, Azadlıq.az, Obyektiv TV, Kanal 13, Yeni Müsavat.

Moreover, another fact supporting the argument for the high tolerance in Azerbaijan is that radical media organizations freely operate in the country. For instance, news agencies like islamazeri.az, ilsaminsesi.org, faktxeber.org, azeriislam.az, deyerler.org, interaztv.com, azadxeber.az are among those.

In conclusion, we can confidently state our indifference towards the annual reports written up by Freedom House. As mercenary and corrupt nature of that organization is evident. None of that reports can obscure the current development and the achievement we got. It is the result of our success that, any large scale project can be implemented by ignoring and bypassing Azerbaijan. Off course, “democracy cheaters” like Freedom House are jealousy of Azerbaijan and try to prevent its development with all possible means.
