`I know that Russia recognizes Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity`
“Four girls performed a fashion show on a rock in Shusha. Was there any person to watch them?!”

“I know that Russia recognizes territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and respects Azerbaijani laws. We don’t know Bako Sahakyan. They are aggressors, have occupied our lands. Of course, I condemn any organization’s conferring order on Bako Sahakyan,” Chairman of “Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno Karabakh” Public Union, head of Shusha Region Executive Authority, Bayram Safarov told while commenting on leader of Nagorno Karabakh separatists Bako Sahakyan’s being awarded with order of Peter the Great by the Russian Academy of Security, Defense and Law.

Safarov said like Russia, other world countries also recognize the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. “The world countries perceive Armenia as an occupying country and don’t recognize the independence of so-called Nagorno-Karabakh regime.

Head of the authority mentioned Armenia is living in poverty today. “The people of Armenia live in poverty and misery. They hold rallies to protest against the rise in prices. Recently, a Russian held a fashion show in Karabakh. Four girls performed a fashion show on a rock. Was there any person to watch them?! Is any Armenian living in Karabakh? We know that all these are a performance”.

Earlier, the Russian Academy of Security, Defense and Law awarded Bako Sahakyan with the order of Peter the Great. This is not a state medal.

Note that, there are reports that B. Saakyan has been awarded the first degree of the Peter the Great Order. However, it later became clear that the order was given to the separatist leader a few years ago. On 30 July 2015, independent journalist Vagram Aghajanyan asked Russian ambassador to Armenia Ivan Volynkin through the press that what merits of his he had been awarded this order for.
