Iran visit of Azerbaijani delegation headed by the Minister of Economy and Industry of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev is a deliberate step towards strengthening the economic relations with Iran.
During his meeting with the president Hassan Rouhani, the minister declared that Azerbaijani side intends to build a factory in Iran.
Shahin Mustafayev stated that, six Azerbaijani companies have cooperation with Iran in the sphere of mutual investments, adding that, the two countries continue cooperation in the area of pharmaceutics,tourism, and visa inspection.
Moreover, he deemed the fact that 500 thousand Azerbaijani tourists visited Iran in 2013, whereas 800 thousand visited in 2014 as a great success.
Member of the Parliament, deputy Ali Masimli told AzVision, removal of the sanctions against Iran will create a new phase of development. It is important to deepen and enhance cooperation in the field where our interest overlap. It is crucial for Azerbaijan to increase the pace of the cooperation with Iran. However,its positive impact on our country will depend on the efficiency of the process. Iran itself will feel the necessity due to the removal of the sanctions”- said the deputy.
