Swimmer Vali Israfilov earns Azerbaijan’s 11th gold medal at Tokyo 2020 Paralympics

Azerbaijani swimmer Vali Israfilov has grabbed gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics.

He secured Azerbaijan's 11th gold medal by setting a new Paralympic world record in the men's 100m breaststroke event.

To date, the Azerbaijani team earned 11 gold, 1 silver, and 4 bronze medals at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics.
