 Russia appoints new commander of its peacekeeping contingent in Karabakh

The former deputy commander of the 58th Combined Arms Army of Russia’s Southern Military District, Mikhail Kosobkov, has been appointed commander of the country’s peacekeeping contingent temporarily stationed in Azerbaijan’s Karabakh, AzVision.az reports.

Kosobkov also served as head of a Russian military base in Abkhazia.
