Health Ministry: No suspicious case of coronavirus recorded in Azerbaijan
“So far, no suspicious case of Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus was recorded in the republic.”

Head of Republican Anti Plague Station under the Ministry of Health, Ragif Abdullayev told APA that the measures envisaged in Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev’s order to strengthen preventive measures against the coronavirus disease are being implemented: “If any suspicious case is recorded, the samples will be sent to the laboratory of the Republican Anti Plague Station. We have all the condition for the examination.”

Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev signed an order to strengthen preventive measures in Azerbaijan against the coronavirus disease.

Since April 2012, cases of Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus have been identified and registered in the Middle East. South Korea experienced an outbreak of Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) from May, 2015 and the risk continues.
