Korean athlete won gold medal in World Cup competitions held in Gabala
World Cup competitions in Olympic shooting are continuing at Gabala Archery and Trap Shooting Complex.
APA`s local bureau reports that on Aug.13, competitions of men’s pistol shooting at 10m distance were held.

8 athletes from Korea, Slovakia, Kazakhstan, Russia, Spain, USA and China competed in the finals.

Korean athlete Congyong Kim grabbed gold medal scoring 199 points, Vladimir Isaknenko (Kazakhstan) won silver medal scoring 197.4 points and Juraj Tuzinski (Slovakia) won bronze medal scoring 178.9 points. The awarding ceremony of athletes was held after the tournaments.

Currently, Chinese athletes rank first with 9 medals (5 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals) in World Cup competitions.

22 athletes won licenses to 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro so far.
