Turkish Lira Hits New Low As Coalition Talks Falter
Failure by Turkey`s two biggest political parties to strike coalition deal sees Turkish lira slump.
The Turkish lira hit a new low against the dollar on Friday after coalition talks between the country`s two biggest political parties ended without agreement late on Thursday.

The Turkish currency fell to a historic low of 2.8422 against the dollar in early-morning trading on Friday.

The lira came back to 2.8409 later Friday morning.
