The opening ceremony of the house was co-organized by the State Committee for Diaspora Affairs and the Igdir-based Foundation for Supporting the Azerbaijan Language, History and Culture Association.
The ceremony started after the national anthems of Azerbaijan and Turkey were performed. Participants observed a minute of silence to honor the memory of the martyrs of Karabakh and the Turkic world.
A delegation headed by First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of Azerbaijan for Diaspora Affairs Valeh Hajiyev took part in the ceremony.
