The Turkish minister noted that joint demining operations are being conducted in Azerbaijan’s territories liberated from occupation.
Akar also touched upon security cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan, calling the Shusha Declaration a ‘historic step’ in this regard.
“The Shusha Declaration is of the great importance of the development and stability of not only two countries, but also the entire Caucasus region. Armenia should take the hand of peace and friendship extended by the Turkish and Azerbaijani presidents, and should evaluate the opportunities, including our "3+3" format proposal,” he added.
Minister Akar reiterated that Turkey will always stand by brother Azerbaijan.
