During the meeting, Jabbarov said that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to partnership with international financial institutions, including the World Bank, highly appreciates its technical assistance and financial support.
He noted that cooperation between Azerbaijan and the World Bank in many areas is important in the context of the application of advanced international experience.
Besides, Minister Jabbarov informed about measures taken to diversify the economy, develop the non-oil sector, encourage investment and further improve the business environment in Azerbaijan.
Bjerde emphasized the productive cooperation between the World Bank and Azerbaijan.
She said that the World Bank supports the economic reforms carried out in the country.
The parties also discussed aspects of the implementation of joint projects and new areas of cooperation.
