  Armenia begins to disclose its military losses in recent border clashes with Azerbaijan

Armenia’s Defense Ministry on Friday announced that six military servicemen were killed in recent clashes on the border with Azerbaijan.

The dead soldiers are Senior Lieutenant Taron Sahakyan (born 1990), Junior Sergeant Meruzhan Harutyunyan (born 1991), Private Gurgen Sargsyan (born 1990), Junior Sergeant Artur Martirosyan (born 1998) and Private Davit Amiryan (born 1980). The body of another killed soldier is still undergoing the identification process.

Seven Azerbaijani military servicemen were killed and 10 wounded in combat operations that erupted on November 16 after Armenia’s military provocations on the border between the two countries.
