Azerbaijani, Turkish air forces to hold joint tactical exercises
In accordance with the annual plan of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey, the two countries
More than 30 means of aviation of the Azerbaijani and Turkish air forces as well as MiQ-29, F-16 fighters jets, Su-25 strike assault, F-4E bomber, C-130 Hercules military transport planes, Mi-35 combat, Mi-17 and Sikorski UH-60 combat transport, Cougar AS532 search and rescue helicopters will be involved in the exercises, which will start off on August 22.

The Azerbaijani and Turkish air forces will perform tasks of the planning of the joint actions of the two countries’ air forces, learning capabilities of interaction and coordination in carrying out operations, fulfillment of search and rescue actions, and eliminating ground targets with air strikes, etc.

The exercises will last until September 18.
