Black Sea Hawk 2015 Exercise Kicks Off
Aiming at the increase military capability of the countries which sharing coastline to Black Sea, a military exercise Black Sea Hawk 2015 kicked off the in territorial waters of Turkey.
Belonging to Turkey and the other participating countries battleships got under way from Coast Guard Marmara and Straits.

Aiming at the increase military capability of the countries which sharing coastline to Black Sea, a military exercise Black Sea Hawk 2015 kicked off the in territorial waters of Turkey.

Belonging to Turkey and the other participating countries battleships got under way from Coast Guard Marmara and Straits Command in Sarıyer district and entered the waters of Black Sea. Aiming also the collaboration between the countries, increasing joint action and movement and experiencing the capabilities, battle ships conducted an operation to pre-determined(a ship) targets successfully in their first test .

Turkey, which is the host country, is participates the drill with two coast guard corvettes, four coast guard boats, one coast guard plane, three helicopter, one special coast guard team and two security teams. Other attending countries of Russia joined the drill with one maritime patrol ship, Bulgaria with one border guard boat while Romani joining with an open sea maritime patrol ship.

In line with the operation plan, all battleship and military elements got under way from Coast Guard Marmara and Straits Command in Saryier at 09:30 Turkish Local Time and moved the pre-determined route to carry out an operation. Operation which was conducted in the sideline of the drill was held successfully.

As part of the plan all maritime elements surrounded the targeted ship and intervened in successfully.
