It comes barely a week after news that the 90-year-old has had surgery for liver cancer.
“They did an MRI and found there were four spots of melanoma on my brain. They are very small spots, about two millimetres. I will get my first radiation treatment for the melanoma in my brain this afternoon and I understand I will have four treatments scheduled at three-week intervals.”, Jimmy Carter told reporters at a specially-convened press conference.
