The source also said that the first meeting of the Iran-P5+1(the US, UK, France, Germany, Russia, China) joint commission will be held in New York as well.

The agenda of the commission’s meeting has yet to be determined, according to the source.

A joint commission consisting of the P5+1 nations, Iran, and the European Union (EU) will monitor compliance with the nuclear agreement which was achieved between Tehran and the six world powers. If they cannot resolve an issue then the UN Security Council will have the final say.

On July 14, Iran and the P5+1 group of countries reached an agreement over Tehran’s nuclear program, curbing the Islamic Republic`s nuclear program in exchange for the lifting of most international sanctions.
