TURKPA Secretariat is located in Baku. As Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly Asanov replaced the Azerbaijani representative Ramil Hasanov.

Zhandos Asanov became Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic Speaking States (TURKPA), the Senate of Kazakh Parliament press service said on Tuesday.
