Interpol suspends search of German Sterligov, illegally visited Nagorno Karabakh
The lawyer of Russian businessman German Sterligov said that Interpol has suspoended the search of the entrepreneur.
Artur Ayrapetov made the statement to Russian news service.

"International police does not search the people wanted for political motives since it contradicts the statute. The Interpol commission has recognized Sterligov`s persecution by Azerbaijan as political. He has been in the Interpol database for about 10-15 days but his international search was suspended on August 21", the lawyer said.

Note, in July, a number of Russian media reported that businessman, farmer, founder of the Exchange "Alice" Sterligov left Russia with his family and sells the property.

Later it became known that he had moved to the unrecognized "Nagorno Karabakh Republic". Then, Sterligov returned to Russia.

Sterligov have already been entered into Azerbaijan’s notorious list of persona non-grata for illegally entering Azerbaijan’s Armenian-occupied territories.
