According to the State Statistics Committee, 1,959,800 tons or 56.2% of the cargo was transported by road, 1,125,300 tons or 32,2% by rail and 405,700 tons or 11.6% by sea.

The volume of cargo transportation through the Azerbaijani section of the Transport Corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia (TRACECA) amounted to 3.4 million tons, while the cargo turnover was 803.8 million ton-kilometers in January, AzVision.az reports.
