It is not ruled out that the arson in a refugee campus in Bavaria, where a group of Azerbaijanis also lived, is a demonstration of xenophobia and racial discrimination.
The statement came from spokesman for Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Hikmet Hajiyev commenting on the incident.
"The officials of Bavaria also said that the arson may have been committed on the ground of xenophobia and racial discrimination. We are hopeful that the investigation will be objective and detailed and the culprits will be punished", the spokesman said.
