Azerenergy enters Turkish market
Azerbaijani energy producer is expected to obtain licence for conduction of operations in the neighbour country
Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey energy corridor is expanding.

According to Turkey’s Sabah newspaper, the energy bridge, which starts with Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline and continues with Trans-Anatolian Pipeline, will also include energy. So, the first declaration was signed for energy line, which three countries will join.

Representatives of three countries determined two various directions for energy line.

Azerbaijani Deputy Energy Minister Natig Abbasov said East-West line will be named EWEC, North-South line – NOSEC. One of lines will connect Samukh district of Azerbaijan and Gardabani of Georgia. Other line will stretch to Turkey from Akhaltsikhe.

He added that after transportation of Azerbaijan’s energy to Turkey through Georgia, the priority issue is its distribution.

Azerenergy is expected to obtain licence for conduction of operations in Turkish market.
