  Azerbaijani minister views work done at Akhalkalaki station within BTK project

As part of his working visit to Georgia, Azerbaijan's Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev has visited the Akhalkalaki station to familiarize himself with the work done on the new Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project.

The executors gave detailed information to the minister on the progress of the project, and then he inspected the infrastructure facilities in the area.

The new Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, inaugurated on October 30, 2017, is developing with increasing dynamics. To date, more than one million tonnes of freight have been transported along this route.
