Azerbaijani minister gets familiar with work progress on BTK project in Georgia

Minister of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan Rashad Nabiyev got acquainted with the progress of work on the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) railway project during his working visit to Georgia, AzVision.az reports citing the ministry.

According to the ministry, Nabiyev was informed in detail about the progress of the project, and then viewed the transport infrastructure facilities of Georgia’s Akhalkalaki district.

The BTK railway was commissioned on October 30, 2017. So far, more than one million tons of cargo have been transported through it.
