A UAE reconnaissance plane has been shot down in Yemen in response to Saudi Arabia`s relentless attacks on the impoverished country.
According to Yemeni media, the plane was downed in a region between the southern provinces of al-Bayda and Abyan. Earlier, Yemen’s Ansarullah fighters and their army allies destroyed a number of UAE military vehicles and killed several Emirati soldiers. The United Arab Emirates has deployed ground troops to assist Saudi forces in the war against Yemen.
