Armenian citizens prevented from crossing into EU territory
Seven Armenian citizens – 7 adults and 3 children – were detained at Ukraine’s Tisa checkpoint on Monday afternoon as they tried to enter EU territory with fake documents, according to cencor.net.ua.

During the inspection of documents, a border service inspector found a fake document for permanent residence in Ukraine and a fake date-stamp of the State Border Service of Ukraine. In order to evade from responsibility, one of the Armenians offered 500 euros to the deputy chairman of the border service.

The Armenians were told of the criminal responsibility for their actions. To clarify the case, they were handed over to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
