Webcams set up in 20 percent of polling stations
5491 polling stations have been created as part of the October 9 presidential elections within Azerbaijan and the country`s embassies, consulates and missions in foreign countries, Chairman of the Central Election of Azerbaijan Mazahir Panahov told a press conference held on October 2 at the Independent Press Center.
Mazahir Panahov pointed out that roughly 5,145,000 citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan will cast their ballot in these polling stations. All necessary conditions have been provided in the polling stations to ensure the democratic conduct of voting, AzerTAc reports.

Web cameras have been set up in 20 percent of the polling stations to watch the voting process and conduct the presidential vote in a democratic, transparent and free manner. Every person will be free to watch the voting process in the polling stations via Internet.
