The Pakistani expert took part in the international forum themed “South Caucasus: Development and Cooperation”, which was held Thursday in Azerbaijan’s Shusha city liberated from the Armenian occupation.
He noted that more than 100 Azerbaijani citizens became the victims of landmine explosions over the past year.
Taimur Akram also praised President Ilham Aliyev’s policy towards the restoration and reconstruction of the liberated Azerbaijani territories.
“President Ilham Aliyev offered peace to Armenia, demonstrating that Azerbaijan is a peace-loving country. The reconstruction work in Shusha and other liberated Azerbaijani cities are ongoing at a rapid pace,” he said.
The expert also highly appreciated the conditions created at the Fuzuli International Airport.
