Azerbaijan takes over chairmanship of ECO Parliamentary Assembly

Azerbaijan takes over chairmanship of ECO Parliamentary Assembly

Chairmanship in the Parliamentary Assembly of Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) has passed to Azerbaijan from Pakistan, AzVision.az reports.

Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Sahiba Gafarova, speaking at the 3rd General Conference of the PAECO in Baku, noted that the parliament will take steps to strengthen the activities of the Parliamentary Assembly during this period.

She said that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to activities within the ECO Parliamentary Assembly.
