Georgian parliament limits authority of PM and government
The Georgian parliament adopted constitutional amendments limiting the authorities of the Prime Minister and government on Friday during the third reading.
According to the amendments, the Prime Minister loses the right to change the government`s structure independently from the parliament. He will be required to put the question of confidence in the government before parliament.

In addition, the government and the Prime Minister will not have the authority to connect the bill rejected by the parliament with the question of confidence in the government and force the parliament to adopt it under the threat of dissolution.
