5 magnitude earthquake shakes northeastern Iran
An earthquake measuring 5 on the Richter scale hit Iran`s northeastern town of Khusf in South Khorasan province on Friday, according to the Iranian Seismological Center`s website.
The earthquake took place at around 21:47 local time (1817 GMT) at a depth of 10 km, and the epicenter was 32.94 degrees North Latitude and 58.90 degrees East Longitude, said the Iranian Seismological Center.

There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
