Azerbaijan established rules of total or middle processing of goods
By Decision #266 from 25 September the Cabinet Ministers approved the Rules for defining the norms of full and middle processing of goods placed under special customs procedure.
Under the Decision, the degree of processing of goods placed under special customs procedure is determined in percentage and amount. At that it is taken into account the level of processing, production losses and waste, Fineko reports.

Each operation on processing goods placed under special customs procedure is controlled by the customs authorities and is carried out after obtaining permission to carry it out.

Such procedures can be applied to the processing of give and take oil, precious stones and metals. It may relate to production processes in industrial parks.

Special customs procedure is envisaged by the Customs Code.
