The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) will play an important role in ensuring the energy security of the Balkans, said Albanian President Ilir Meta, expressing gratitude to Azerbaijan and the country’s president for their efforts in this regard.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 9th Global Baku Forum on Thursday, the Albanian president said now energy security is the top issue on the global agenda, AzVision.az reports.
“We must take responsibility for peace and security. On the other hand, the fair distribution of vaccines should be focused on,” he added.
