During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state and future prospects for energy cooperation.
Parviz Shahbazov highlighted the work done in Azerbaijan in the field of the energy transition, "green energy" projects and "green electricity" export plans. It was noted that natural gas plays an important role in the diversification of energy resources through the production of electricity in Azerbaijan. Cooperation with private companies was described as one of the priorities in all these areas.
Giuseppe Marino pointed out the company`s activities, completed global projects, and achievements of traditional power plants in the field of modification of plants and devices for the use of natural gas as well as hydrogen.
