Iran to increase trade volume with Armenia
Trade volume between Armenia and Iran should increase to $1 billion.
Governor of East Azerbaijan province Ahman Alirezabeigi met with governor of Armenia’s Syunik Region Suren Khachatryan.

Alirezabeigi said the current trade volume is $500 million which should be doubled in the near future.

“Collaboration among Armenia’s Syunik Province economic activists and Iran’s East Azerbaijan activists helps to boosting bilateral relations at the national level,” IRNA agency quotes Alirezabeigi. He underscored necessity of developing cooperation in various fields.

In his turn, Suren Khachatryan said Iran’s help is very important for Armenian, noting that Yerevan is committed to expand ties with Islamic Republic.
