The Traiskirchen refugee camp is only 20 kilometers away from the Austrian capital Vienna.
The rising influx of Syrian refugees to Austria has made its largest refugee camp operate beyond capacity.
The camp is currently housing 4,500 refugees, more than double its capacity.
The government is also building emergency shelters in some police bureaus, remolding containers into temporary shelters. The country is urging international parties to deal with the crisis.
