Ilham Aliyev receives credentials from ambassadors of Latvia and Israel
On August 31, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia Yuris Maklakovs.

AzVision.Az reports citing the official website of the head of state that Ilham Aliyev spoke with the Ambassador.

The head of state announced the successful development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Latvia, and also noted the importance of mutual visits for strengthening of ties between the countries.

Yuris Maklakovs in turn, said that his main goal will be the expansion of economic ties between our countries, and that he will make all efforts for the expansion of bilateral relations in general.

Also, Ilham Aliyev received credentials of newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel Dan Stavin.

The sides expressed satisfaction with the current level of bilateral relations and exchanged views on the prospects of cooperation in the economic, energy, high technology, agriculture and culture fields.
