The number of tourists from Russia decreased by number, Aydin Ismiyev head of the Tourism Department of Ministry of Culture and Tourism told to reporters on 31 August.
He mentioned that, this is happened because of the economic crisis in Russia. Last year, totally 5000 tourists came to Azerbaijan, and most of them were from Russia.
He also added that, the opening of new hotels and hostels in different regions of Azerbaijan impact on development of tourism sector in Azerbaijan.
